Britney will premiere my most anticipated video in a long time, her new one “If You Seek Amy” on March 2nd, thats next Monday! BritneySpears.com posted some exclusive footage and the teaser pics above straight from the set, check out the awesome dance routine below, I can’t wait to see Britney peform this one, hopefully this will be a lot more of a dance video than the disappointing one for “Circus”, which saw Francis Lawrence splice way too many clips and interrupt the flow of the dancing.
Here’s an unofficial routine, which I actually think is better, choreographed by Wesley Messias:
Plus, I had to post their awesome adrenaline-packed “Diva” routine:
And here’s one more cool clip collected thanks to BritneySpears.com, who have the most novel ideas for blog features (an excellent blog for an official website, they’re normally pretty shoddy and badly updated in my experience) a fantastic piano rendition of the new single, which sounds surprisingly great. That “all of the boys & all of the girls are begging to F-U-C-K me” line sounds dope on piano, really haunting as it descends the keys!
Also from the Britney site (seems I’m stealing most of their material…ha ha) I found a widget which shows the stage setup for Brit’s forthcoming ‘Circus’ tour, which actually kicks off in New Orleans the day after the video premiere next Tuesday, March 3rd. Me and the gyals are going to see her in London (or Manchester, she just added a date here so that might be easier) and this has really got me amped up, I can’t f**king wait!!
Until next week, here’s a track I hope she performs at some point, despite it being a midtempo and a bonus track, the beautiful Fernando Garibay-produced, Lady GaGa-penned “Quicksand” which has grown on me phenomenally recently. Here’s what Lady Germanotta had to say on the pop princess (now queen of pop, according to Danja):
“She’s a nice girl – I just feel very honoured that she wanted to sing my song. I used to scream for her in Times Square and now I work for her. When I was 13 she was the most provocative performer of my time. I love her so much! Britney certainly doesn’t need any freakin’ tips from me! Britney Spears is the queen of pop. I was learning from her.”
You know the drill, listen to it in the sidebar and download in the Britney “Circus” post in the forum! >>
