Quite a few tracks have leaked from the sessions for one of my most anticipated projects this year, Mario’s fourth studio album “And Then There Was Me”. The majority of these have been quality material and some fantastic tracks have made my playlist daily like the Full Scale-produced “Main Attraction” and 90s George Michael-esque “Love”. This is another great track which has me excited for the new project, a catchy DarkChild-produced ballad with a distinctive squeaking sound and a nice stuttering drum pattern. It also shows how versatile a writer Lady GaGa is, as its a straight up R&B midtempo from the electro-R&B queen.
After how awesome he sounded on Joe’s “Last Sip”, I’m definitely thinking Mario needs a B. Cox banger for his single material, I hope they worked together for the new album. Regardless, I’m really looking forward to this new album, Mario knows how to sing and put out consistently quality material. I’ve been a massive fan from his first album, which although he’s yet to surpass IMO, has been just one of three fantastic albums up to now in his hopefully lengthy career.
